Simple Smooth Vegan Milk that never splits!!
I have uploaded a few recipes for Vegan Milk since starting the blog. However, when I got my Ninja Blender for Father’s Day I had a brainwave, it’s not something i’ve seen online either. The problem with homemade milks with oats or nuts is that no matter what we do we cannot make them perfectly smooth at home without so many stages of filtration. This can be very time consuming particularly if all you want is a nice cup of coffee. So here is a recipe for a Simple Smooth Vegan Milk that never splits!!
So the idea was to start with something already smooth, something fairly cheap & easy to get hold of…
Smooth Peanut Butter of course!!
Equipment you will need-
A very good blender – So I have have a Ninja Blender Duo with Auto IQ which is incredible & now less than £100! But I expect it works just as well in a Nutribullet or similar. However, because the Peanut Butter is already smooth this may work in any blender.
Ingredients Simple Smooth Vegan Milk –
2 large tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter (You choose the brand)
800ml Filtered Water
Creating Simple Smooth Vegan Milk –
Put 2 large tbsp Smooth Peanut Butter in the 1 ltr Sip N Seal Jar / Smoothie cup and pour over 800ml Filtered Water & blend on Nutri Ninja Ultra Blend for 1 minute. Other Blenders blend on max speed for 1 minute, if it needs a little more give another minute.
This milk has been perfect for coffee & cereal & is ready in 2 minutes, no splitting, tastes lovely & creamy. If you give it a good shake in the Jar before pouring coffee you can make it frothy like steamed milk from the coffee shop.

So now I have a great foundation it seems so much easier to add to this. Try adding 2 tbsp of Roasted Oats before blending. The Peanut Butter eats up any bits & you have a lovely smooth Peanut Butter & Oat Milk. But it does not have to stop there, any smooth nut butter is going to do the same trick, Almond Butter, Cashew Butter etc etc.
Now end with a Maple, Peanut & Oatie Vegano Latte
Add 1 tsp Maple Syrup to the bottom of your cup
Followed by freshly made Filtered Coffee
Topped with Peanut Butter & Oat Milk
